<p>Over the past few months I have been involved in a new social network known as <a title="MakeFive" href="http://makefive.com" target="_blank">MakeFive</a>. It&#8217;s a really interesting concept which allows you to create your own top 5 lists, then have other people compare, share, and even contribute their thoughts to the lists. It can be extremely addictive, and really fun coming up with these lists. Each month is a <a title="MakeFive Contest Rules" href="http://www.makefive.com/contest" target="_blank">contest</a>, where the people with the most/best/interesting opinions win prizes like ipods and t-shirts. Being a <a title="MakeFive Past Winners" href="http://www.makefive.com/contest/trendsetters" target="_blank">two-time winner</a>, I was lucky enough to receive a couple&nbsp;shirts.</p>
<div class="wp-caption alignleft" style="width: 317px"><a href="http://blog.makefive.com/2008/09/now-thats-awesome-use-of-the-coveted-makefive-tshirt/"><img title="Sporting Our Threads" src="http://blog.makefive.com/wp-content/uploads/tshirt_richard_and_ethan.jpg" alt="Sporting Our Threads" width="307" height="349" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Sporting Our&nbsp;Threads</p></div>
<p>One of the topics featured on <a title="MakeFive" href="http://www.makefive.com/" target="_blank">MakeFive</a> was to show off the coveted t-shirt given to the winners of each month&#8217;s competition. Being a past winner, I submitted a photo of Ethan (my son) and I sporting our new threads, and to my delight we were recently featured on the <a title="MakeFive Blog" href="http://blog.makefive.com/2008/09/now-thats-awesome-use-of-the-coveted-makefive-tshirt/" target="_blank">MakeFive blog</a>. Pretty&nbsp;sweet!</p>
<div class="wp-caption alignleft" style="width: 420px"><a href="http://blog.makefive.com/wp-content/uploads/makefive_crew1.jpg" rel="lightbox[63]"><img title="MakeFive Team" src="http://blog.makefive.com/wp-content/uploads/makefive_crew1.jpg" alt="MakeFive Team" width="410" height="299" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">MakeFive&nbsp;Team</p></div>
<p>My experience at <a title="MakeFive" href="http://www.makefive.com/" target="_blank">MakeFive</a> has been nothing but positive. People are friendly, and there is always something going on. The <a title="Meet the MakeFive team" href="http://blog.makefive.com/2008/09/meet-the-team/" target="_blank">team</a> behind this social expirament is none other than the fine folks at <a title="smashLAB" href="http://www.smashlab.com/" target="_blank">smashLAB</a>. They are constantly tweaking things, and making the overall user experience better. If you have some spare time on your hands, check out <a title="MakeFive" href="http://www.makefive.com/" target="_blank">MakeFive</a> for&nbsp;yourself!</p>
