Over the past few months I have been involved in a new social network known as MakeFive. It’s a really interesting concept which allows you to create your own top 5 lists, then have other people compare, share, and even contribute their thoughts to the lists. It can be extremely addictive, and really fun coming up with these lists. Each month is a contest, where the people with the most/best/interesting opinions win prizes like ipods and t-shirts. Being a two-time winner, I was lucky enough to receive a couple shirts.
One of the topics featured on MakeFive was to show off the coveted t-shirt given to the winners of each month’s competition. Being a past winner, I submitted a photo of Ethan (my son) and I sporting our new threads, and to my delight we were recently featured on the MakeFive blog. Pretty sweet!
My experience at MakeFive has been nothing but positive. People are friendly, and there is always something going on. The team behind this social expirament is none other than the fine folks at smashLAB. They are constantly tweaking things, and making the overall user experience better. If you have some spare time on your hands, check out MakeFive for yourself!
