My friend Corey, told me about a new band called A Fine Frenzy that he had the opportunity to see live the other day - and I’m sure glad he did! After I had a chance to give their album a listen I was sold - some of the best slow songs I’ve had the opportunity to enjoy in a long time.

After doing a little research about A Fine Frenzy, I have found out that it’s the blood, sweat and tears of young singer-songwriter from Seattle, Alison Sudol. Her voice reminds me that of Norah Jones, combined with well-crafted melodies and lyrics that could melt any heart. I highly recommend A Fine Frenzy to anyone looking for some great music.

Also in the new music front, I have been really enjoying the new material from The Weakerthans, Rilo Kiley, Colin Munroe and The New Pornographer’s. All great bands, that offer some great music.
