whose wings were crushed by a windshield. So fast to the ground, the roadside it found as it’s eyes closed. I heard the driver say as she pulled away, “What could I have done? The worst is over.” I thought to myself with risk to our health. No one ever offers help.
Wow, it has been far too long since I have updated this site. My apologies…not that there is anybody ready this blog in the first place. Life has been fairly busy, and I haven’t felt all that “inspired” to write anything. I have on the other hand been doing a lot on the back-end of this site; experimenting with various plug-ins and features. As for the front-end, I’m not entirely set on the design (typical designer) - so I have been kicking around different ideas. One part of my likes how clean and simple things are now, the other side wants me to add more to it. Whatever the case, I’m sure I’ll always want to adjust this or that. I’d really like to add more posts and even pages to help this site grow, but I digress.
On the personal side of things, I have been really digging Halo 3 - such a great game! The story is really good and the on-line features just add more life to it. I have also really been enjoying the new Emery album “I’m Only a Man.” It is a solid effort on their part and I can see, err rather “hear” that they have grown as artists with this album. The last song, the 10+ minute epic “From Crib to Coffin” is my favorite so far - so much so that I decided to open this post with a few lines from the song.
Onto the NFL…I wish I could say better for my Denver Broncos. They got smoked yesterday by the Chargers 41-3 - ouch! It was so bad that the television station originally airing the game cut to another feed in the third quarter. I must give credit where credit is due - the Chargers sure brought their A-game. I hope we get out of this slump soon…I dunno if I can watch another loss. The playoffs are starting to look further and further away each week.
